Ideas are spinning out of this fantastic paper toy modelling link www.papertoysart.com/. I picked up on it because the featured toy robot eponymous with Machinarium, an enchanting point and click puzzle adventure game, available for download and also on the iOS platform. The game is a lot of fun and the vibrant game landscapes, typical of the Amanita Design studio, would make for a great backdrop to a creative writing class (and its been on my todo list for too long). Whilst I am distracted, there is even a free demo, which would be a fun way to introduce the learning and the soundtrack is really good for creating atmosphere too.
Anyway – back on Papertoysart….. I think the 846+ paper models would make for a fun, active, learning tasks to introduce a lesson. Superheroes a plenty, monsters, spacecraft, weird and wonderful. There are plenty of Halloween models, I may even dress my desk with one.
