At our school we use the very effective Parents Evening System. In addition to the booking facility, the system collects parent and carer email and contact number. Transferring this information back to SIMs was not so simple, so I contacted the SIMs team, via their twitter account and later that week Claire Ashton returned my inquiry.

Just so you know ahead of time, the documentation informs you to apply the first patch, then upload the data, and then apply a second patch to remove the first because of the vulnerabilities it adds into SIMs. A bit of a faff, but we expect it will be worthwhile.
