We do need to provide digital tools for ALL learners in our schools. Simply “cramming” more technology into our classrooms dominated by traditional, teacher-directed pedagogical models, however, has virtually NO probability of constructively transforming learning outcomes.
Bringing in more technology is not the solution. Our planning for the vle and 121 program must impact on the ‘teacher-directed pedagogical models’ – and how they can incorporate digitals tools to accelerate learning, when and where appropriate.
