This one is doing the rounds and I completely see why. @chickensaltash (Dan Roberts) @gideonwilliams and BBC Radio Present Scott Mills all recommend it.
Its a simple game you can play with wikipedia and it even has its own page. The rules are pretty straightforward, start on one page and get to another, seemingly totally unrelated page in as few clicks as possible. Fewest clicks, wins. A lesson introduction hit, not forgetting all the great skim, scan, deduction and filtering skills the students are developing. Making those connections really does cause a cerebral challenge.
Will this type of reading challenge engage my disillusioned Year 7 boys?
