Siftables aims to enable people to interact with information and media in physical, natural ways that approach interactions with physical objects in our everyday lives.
I first saw a product idea called ‘Siftables’ on a tech blog post back in 2008 and have been tracking their development ever since. Siftables as they were then, brought my enthusiasm for active learning and technology colliding together with real impact. An MIT Lab project that I thought had real promise.
Siftables and David Merill then again appeared on TED and I was wowed and by the number of comments on the blog, so were the readers.
I do not remember when, but some time ago I signed up to a notifcation page and last night I was sent a teasing email suggesting I check back later.
This morning saw the pre-oder site for Sifteo. Sadly, they are nto yet shipping outside of the US, but I have asked them to let me know when they are, I even offered to pay for shipping. Can you tell I am excited about this product?
