Recently I have wanted to show my students a series of video clips for Media Studies. I wanted to share the opening sequence to a range of sitcom such as The Simpsons, The Royle Family and Friends. Now, I could just use the embed each video, one after another, but I created a single YouTube playlist instead, embed the playlist my Moodle resource page. This offers two advantages:
1. You can squeeze in more video content in the same amount of (visual) space.
2. A video playlist will reduce the (byte) size of your web page considerably, time for a bit of geek here…. technically, you now have to embed the YouTube Flash video player only once on your page.
