Yesterday I used I
iPadio, to record and automatically published my thoughts from the Eastleigh Consortium training day. I really like the functionality iPadio and to date, it’s been my mobile blogging platform of choice. When I got home, I added a few further reflections and that’s a wrap.
I must also admit that WordPress iOS has been improving and today they released another update with significant improvements I hope will address the too frequent buggy crashes that have keep me away. Coupled with the improvements to Dragon Diction I can ‘speak’ my post and copy and paste to WordPress iOS. What WordPress iOS DEFINITELY adds is the ability to add pictures and movies.
The mobile blogging platform has definitely matured, now full of rich media and versatile platforms, I don’t think it will be long before forward thinking educationalists direct their students to report their experiences through them.
This comes as our students return their Work Experience…. You thinking what I am thinking?? Would 12 months represent sufficient time to put the infrastructure in place, train staff on blogging, train staff to lead student learning on blogging whilst meshing this driver with the existing programme?
