Late last night I read the BBC article following The Education Secretary’s radio phone-in. The reform of the school league tables system and introduction a new English Baccalaureate. The government says it is empowering parental choice, it would appear that this caller to Victoria Derbyshire on Radio 5 was less accepting of the new policy.
My guess is that this just reflects your own personal, narrow experience of education…
Children go to school to work out who they are and what they want to study.
All subjects are as important as each other.

I was less convinced by Gove’s response. This morning, I forwarded the link onto our Headteacher. It certainly informed my opinion of Gove and his personal qualities.
