Its worth spending 10 minutes on the Microsoft Education Blog to check out the new add-ins and templates for Office 2007 and Office 2010. All the downloads can be found here with specific information Mouse Mischief here.
I am most interested in the Interactive Classroom Add-in for PowerPoint 2007 and 2010 and OneNote 2007 and 2010 that provides real-time polling (and interactive note-taking). It works when broadcasting Powerpoint presentations or Onenotes connect to a broadcast, something I have not yet attempted so that opportunity will not be missed. I am already thinking that this add-in could provide an alternative to web tools such as polleverywhere and other classroom voting systems?
