This morning on the way to work, only a short journey, I listened to edtechtalk weekly as I usually do most monday mornings. Its only a 15 minute drive, if that, so I tend to listen to the podcast / show whilst prepare my room for teaching. I pick up the rest of the show on the way home. From there on in its a bit or a mish-mash. TWIT show Windows Weekly helps develop my knowledge of Microsoft products and forecast College policy, (essential in most schools). Then a range of shows make up a diet of professional CPD – RM, JISC and ASCD lecturers sometimes throw up a few surprises, Wes Fyrer’s ‘Moving at the Speed of Creativity’ is a journey in itself. So my oversight is podcasts – this form of CPD just seems to be woven into my week and makes the rarity of a long car journey a pleasure.
